Journey shrouded in the fog of confusion and fragmented memory…
Dementia I was inspired to make the film after research on dementia and my own experience-observing members of family suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease. The disease attacks the brain and it is not a normal part of aging. Disease slowly destroys memory and thinking skills. As the disease advances, the person needs help in all aspects of life: bathing, eating, and using the restroom.
The story is told through dementia patient’s eyes so we can understand how scary and tariffing it is to live in world covered with fog of confusion and anxiety.
