This project is part of 100 ha Petal Valley master plan, which is located near Chongqing, China. This phase has 22 ha area. There are two types of dwellings, villa and apartment, with total around 800 units. Design ensures every apartment has distant view, whereas every villa enjoy private courtyard. Master plan adopts unconventional approach, particularly for the villa clusters. Inspired by Andalucía village in the mountains, the design has a random and informal setting. The roads are defined by building edges as natural village routes. All these are enhanced by plazas of various sizes, winding and narrow foot lanes, steps, and other landscape features. The aim is to achieve authentic Spanish ethos never seen in Chinese estate market.
